TW: Discussion about real-life death
Today, while I was planning my classes for second semester, I got the very unfortunate news that my English professor passed away in his sleep. He died peacefully, however this was completely random and unexpected. I had class with this professor on Monday morning, and had a conversation with him. He was a very sweet, understanding man who cared about his job a lot but specifically it was his students who were his pride and joy. I didn't know him too well, but I still cared for him a ton. He was in his early 60s, and had no known diseases, viruses, etc. No COVID. No cancer. Nothing.
Please, check in with your loved ones. <3 You never know what could happen.
I choose to look at his passing with hope and love, knowing that he's roaming around in Heaven having the time of his life. I'm not writing this confessional to scare anyone or for anyone to feel bad for me, although I do ask for prayers! I'm writing this because 2020 is a wild time, and you just don't know when something bad could happen. If you haven't talked to your parents in awhile, call them! If you haven't been with your friends in awhile, send them virtual hugs! Life is too short and wild not to go all out in life with unconditional love.
I hope whoever is reading this takes it easy. We live in a scary society but if we choose to look at things in the most positive way possible, the large issues feel a whole lot smaller. Much love! :')':
(If anyone needs to vent or talk to me about stuff happening, pls don't hesitate to reach out to me on Facebook!)
