Hate to love me? Love to hate me? Both work xxTonight's tribal council did not go to plan, but that's okay, as I'm still pleased with the outcome of what happened. Look, Ethan is a really cool guy, and I have nothing but kind words to say about him personality wise. His kindness and dedication? Off the charts, I strive to be like that in my day-to-day life. But if we're talking in-game Ethan, what the actual hell, dude??? He made this long FaceBook comment rant about how he was SO dedicated and loved the game and had total commitment, and then implied that I wasn't the same way? And that I was disrespectful to him with my facial reactions? Um, newsflash, Ethan. People wanted you out for these various reasons. Also, let's talk about the fact that I WASN'T EVEN THE ONE WHO FORCED HIM INTO THE TIE OR PLAYED THE IDOL THAT SENT HIM HOME?? LIKE? The vote was 5 negated Dusty votes, 1 for Brenden (thx to Dusty) and 1 for Ethan (thx to Roy). Yes, I was aware of this split vote plan prior to tribal council but it wasn't like I was the one targeting Ethan this round. I did genuinely try to repair things with him, so that's really petty. Sorry not sorry. When I'm eventually voted out, I'm going to leave this season with grace, because I acknowledge that this is a GAME. We aren't playing for cash, we're playing for a mug with the season logo on it. People need to chill and stop taking things so personally. It's all love at the end of the day, we're humans. If that makes me a biotch, oh well. I'm not trying to come across as one, it's just like... bruh I'm playing Survivor, nothing I say is meant to be taken personally, and I am not going to apologize for a blindside that helped my game.
In regards to Dusty's decision, I don't quite understand it. Homegirl did not make much effort at all in forming social bonds with this tribe. If she knew she was safe because of the idol, why did she not try to get in a good position on this tribe and save her power for a later use? I completely understand her being busy, I know she has a lot going on. But even the busiest of people can respond in a 24 hour time frame, even if it's once. Dusty's move was extremely powerful because Ethan also had an idol, so I thinkkkk the only idol left is Case 3's. Although Dusty very well could have played the Case 3 idol, so honestly who knows. Either way, 2 of them left the game tonight in a flushing clean sweep, which is totes magotes awesome. That's why I'm not too butthurt over what went down, like yeah it was messy and kinda blew the game wide open but it also helped me decrease the purple target, got rid of two advantages, and took away someone who wanted to get revenge on me. That's a win in my book.
After tribal I did something EXTREMELY risky and told Zaid about how Ethan had the idol and that I felt good with Leanna/Ethan in the beginning. I know it seems asinine to reveal an alliance so early in the game, but I did this for a few reasons. One, I wanted to relieve some stress from Zaid worrying about the idols. Also, it doesn't really matter what I say about Etheanna because they both got voted out. Finally, chaos keeps everything up in the air and fluid. A nice simple game is boring, lame, and not fun. A little spice added to the mix? That's what I'm talking about! I don't want to be seen as the chaotic guy but like... if that's my title, as long as my social game saves me then who cares? But yeah I just wanted Zaid to know I am completely locked into being his ride or die for the rest of the game, and I think he understands that. He's very clearly agitated and surprised, but I think just like how couples have to fight to get stronger, Zaid and I have to as well. He's the match to my dynamite, the mento to my coke, the Z to my ARSON. <3
