Of ALL the people that could have won, it just HAD to be Brenden. Bruh!!!
Brenden winning individual immunity was seriously a WTF moment. IMO that was the worst possible outcome for me, so yayyyy to that! The problem is that even though Dusty is the obvious vote for tonight's tribal, since she literally flipped off the entire tribe AND hasn't been talking to anyone, Brenden was who Roy/Danielle/Zaid/myself could split our votes on should Dusty have something. And honestly, I think she does have another advantage. I mean she didn't even SUBMIT for the individual immunity challenge, huh?!?!?! If I were in her shoes I'd do everything in my power to secure that necklace (crown?).... so something fishy is definitely happening with her. I just don't get her strategy at all. Why would you purposely put yourself in an environment where you have no choice but to play advantages??? WHY NOT SAVE THEM??!?!? Is something not clicking for me here? Perhaps she didn't try to compete because she was too busy with work or IRL responsibilities, and if that's the case, I don't blame her, but either way she's acting really immature for a 34 year old given how she has responded to Wednesday's tribal.
I can't even describe my feelings for tonight's vote. Like, there's SUCH an easy option but at the same time it isn't easy because Dusty was severely underestimated last round and she very well could have something in her pocket again. We'll find out soon enough. Also, because Brenden is immune, that complicates shit even FURTHER because Roy/Danielle/Zaid/myself cannot throw votes on anyone but each other. IMO that would be bad gameplay because we're right about to merge, but in a do-or-die situation, I won't discount those three from trying to pull something. I personally have no intentions of splitting because truth be told, the merge terrifies me and I want to have pissed off the least amount of players possible. If Dusty whips out another power and sends another person packing, she deserves to make the merge. I mean truly, that's Goddess behavior and I have no choice but to (painfully) stan. I was a bit concerned last night, as the tribe wasn't communicating to me much, but I confided in Zaddy and he calmed me down a bit!
If I end up going home, I'm proud of the game I've played so far. I know I've been extremely messy at times, but I outlasted 1/3 of the cast, pulled off some wicked votes/blindsides, and met/got introduced to a wonderful community full of talented people. That to me means more than any placement. At the end of the day, as I said in my interview, I came here to play this game with the main intention being to meet new people and make some friends along the way, and while I'm sure I've got a large amount of haters, I've still thoroughly adored this experience. I'm at peace with whatever happens tonight, it's all love. xx
