So Brenden went home last round. It would've been better (maybe?) if Abby had left instead, but I feel good about this move too.
Zaid (and for sure Carson) wanted to stick with Yellow/Harrow 2.0 at least temporarily, and I was fine with compromising on that because I was not about to go to rocks with four OG Green players... I absolutely did not want Juju leaving, and I was worried Abby had an idol, so I guess the "compromise" is that we voted Brenden, who Zaid apparently felt really solid with during swap. Now Abby is still in the game and could potentially still work with me. (Despite me and Abby having broken trust, thankfully I have Juju to tell me what Abby is really thinking/planning.)
The best part is that I still have both of my #1 allies (Juju and Zaid) feeling solid with me. Even though I felt iffy about having a #1 in both alliances, this vote kept both of them happy because Juju didn't really care if Abby or Brenden went home, and now Zaid (and by extension Carson) won't feel burned by me.
Despite my betrayal, Abby knows she's been lying to me for a few rounds about the Miranda vote (and she knows I know that), so I think I still have a better relationship with Abby than she's going to have with Zaid or Carson, or really any of the yellows, because they know Abby has been lying to them about what happened during swap and defending Lee's behavior and blaming Casey & Louise for the drama.
I've mentioned before that during swap I was in an interesting position where I had access to lots of information from different sides, and I knew more than people *thought* I knew, which was oddly "powerful." It was just a question of what I could do with that information, because in this game, simply having information is not enough if you don't do the right things with it. I guess the first thing I did with that info was poisoning people against Abby at merge (although to be fair Louise did that as well), starting with Zaid, and then cutting off one of her closest allies.
I kept my working relationships in the game, and used whatever structure exists to get rid of people who aren't my relationships. Still haven't decided what I do from here, but I'm working on it.
