Immunity Challenge #1 - Eyes and Ears

Hello everyone and welcome to your first Immunity Challenge!

Immunity is up for grabs for two tribes this round.



That's right, only the losing tribe will be going to Tribal Council this round. The top two performing tribes will win Immunity.

This challenges is called "Eyes and Ears" and that is because half of you will have to use your eyes while the other half will have to use their ears. Clever, I know!

You have each been instructed that you will have to split your tribe into three sets of duos. Within these duos one person will be the INSTRUCTOR and the other will be the CREATOR.

The purpose of the challenge is for the Creator to recreate a sequence of 6 items based on the instructions of the Instructor.

To begin, the Instructor will be shown the 6 item sequence and have 10 seconds to memorize it. The Instructor will then have 15 seconds to communicate to the Creator the items that they saw and the order they saw them in. Only the Instructor will be able to communicate at this time.

After this exchange, the Creator will have to recreate the sequence based on the Instructor's instructions. They will only have one shot at locking in their answer. The challenge will be judged based on how many correct items in the sequence the Creator has. In order to get the point, you must have the correct item in the correct spot.

Each duo competing will have the same sequences as a duo on one of the opposing tribes. For example, Bexley Duo #1 will have the same sequence as Ealing Duo #1 and Harrow Duo #1. They will be facing off against each other.

Each duo will have 3 sequences to recreate. After each sequence your duo will have 30 seconds to strategize before the next sequence.

Points will be awarded for each sequence based on your overall placement:


1st Place - 3 points
2nd Place - 2 points
3rd Place - 1 point


The two tribes with the most points at the end of the challenge will win Immunity. In the event of a tie, the tie will be broken by which tribe had the most 1st place finishes, if there is still a tie we will go to 2nd place finishes.

If you are a CREATOR you will need a computer to complete this challenge since it will take place using Google Docs.

You must compete in this challenge by Sunday evening at 10:00pm EST. Tribal Council for the losing tribe will be Monday night. 

Once you have your duo selected please set up a time to compete with Production. We will do our best to accommodate everyone's time requests.

Hello everyone, it's time for results! This one was a true nail biter and if it's any sign for what's to come this season, the competition between you all is going to be stiff!

Before we get to the results though, we're going to take this time to explain the twist of the season! I know some of you have been wondering how Hidden Immunity Idols or other powers could be earned, hell some of you may have already been looking for clues. Well we can put all the gussing to work. This season not only will you be trying to Outwit, Outplay and Outlast each other, you will also be acting as detectives and solving a series of MYSTERIES!

After each challenge you will all gain access to the C17 Mysteries forum:

You will set up a time with production prior to the beginning of your next Immunity Challenge to investigate and attempt to solve one of the following cases:

CASE #1 

THE EYE IN THE SKY 

CASE #2 

CEREAL KILLER 

CASE #3 

PARLIAMENT WOES

Once you have picked which case you want to attempt (it can be any of the three, you do not have to solve them in order), you will have a set amount of time to investigate the case. If your tribe wins Immunity (regardless of placement) you will have 30 minutes. If your tribe loses Immunity you will have 15 minutes.

When your investigation time is up you will have the opportunity to solve the case. To solve the mystery you must correctly 5 questions regarding the mystery. If you are incorrect, you will have to attempt the case again in another investigation period during another round.

Before or after your investigation period you are welcome to discuss and share information with your fellow tribe mates, that is if you can trust them! During your investigation time you are not allowed to message your fellow tribe mates. 

You are free to keep notes from your investigation and compare them with others in the game. More information on specifics regarding investigations will be provided during your first attempt at one, and a member of production will be on call with you to answer any further questions you may have.

To earn a Hidden Immunity Idol you must be the first person to successfully solve one of the three cases. There will be three Hidden Immunity Idols up for grabs this season for the players that solve each case first. So if you solve Case #1 first, you earn the Hidden Immunity Idol. Players who have earned one Hidden Immunity Idol are eligible to earn more.

If you solve a case and there is no idol left to claim, fret not, there is more to this twist then just the Hidden Immunity Idols. By solving all three cases, you earn access to THE DETECTIVE LOUNGE and the opportunity to earn further advantages in the game. More on what this entails will be revealed in due course.

And now what you have all been waiting for, the results! It truly was a nail biter. Going into the final set of duos, the tribe point spread was 13-12-11, it couldn't have been closer! That being said though we do have two winners and one loser. 

The tribe that came in first, with a total score of 21...

Congratulations Harrow you have come in first in the challenge and will be safe from Tribal Council! That means one of Bexley and Ealing will be going to Tribal Council.

Alright, time for the final results. The challenge came down to 2 points between the tribes. By a score of 17.5 to 15.5, the second tribe winning Immunity is...

WINS IMMUNITY!

Congratulations Bexley that means you are safe for the round along with Harrow. Ealing, unfortunately that means you will be going to Tribal Council where one of you will be the first person voted out of CONQUEST: London. I will be in touch to set up a time for Tribal Council.
